NICK STEFANIA /

CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD, INTERNAL

Nick Stefania is Founder, Owner, Managing Partner and Chairman of the Board of Innoveo Solutions AG, the independent software company privately held by its founding members. Before co-founding this company he spent more than 20 years in several IT roles, always serving the insurance industry.

Nick started his career at Zurich Financial Services in 1985, where he spent several years working as a software engineer before taking over the role of team- and project manager. As such he had the opportunity to implement a first flexible insurance system, which was based on concepts and principles taken from the manufacturing industry.

In 2000 he decided to join Hewlett-Packard as Principal Consultant for the insurance industry. There he had the opportunity to co-lead the implementation of a group-wide SOA-based e-business platform for the Helvetia Insurance Group together with Didier Beck .

Joining Helvetia Switzerland in February 2005, Nick was involved in founding “ecenter solutions”, a subsidiary of the Helvetia Group, in January 2006. He was appointed as member of the executive management (Managing Director) of ecenter solutions and, by January 2007 to member of the management committee of Helvetia Switzerland (Direktionsmitglied). In October 2007 Nick decided to leave Helvetia in order to follow his entrepreneurship impulse and found Innoveo Solutions AG.

Nick has an Executive Diploma HSG in SME Management, from the University of St. Gallen, a MIO Certificate (Mensch-Informatik-Organization / Systemic Management of Complex IT Projects) from the University of Zurich and a Diploma in Business Informatics. He speaks German, Italian, English and French.

DIDIER BECK /

MEMBER OF THE BOARD, INTERNAL

Didier Beck is Founder, Owner, Managing Partner and Board Member of Innoveo Solutions AG, the independent software company privately held by its founding members. Since 2000 he also acts as an independent member of the Board of Directors of Boomerang Pharmaceutical Communications, an online marketing company focused on the pharmaceutical industry.

He has more than 12 years experience with the strategic implementation of technology in the insurance industry. The main focus of his activities lies in connecting the insurance business with technology and in leveraging the innovation potential brought by new web technologies which help to develop profitable growth.

Prior to Innoveo and since 2006, Didier was the CEO of ecenter solutions, a software and technology subsidiary spun off from the Helvetia Group. ecenter solutions was delivering a unified, multinational infrastructure and platform for e-business solutions. Between 2000 and 2005, he contributed to the development and implementation of the e-business strategy of the Helvetia Group. As one of the initiators of the corporate-wide multinational eBusiness Center, he was nominated Deputy Manager in 2001, before becoming its Director and Manager in 2002. Before 2000, he was in charge of various IT architecture, projects, and management functions within Helvetia Switzerland.

Didier has a Masters of Science in Computer Engineering (1995) from the Upper Alsace University – France, and a Masters in Business Administration from EM Lyon – France (2001), with specialization in strategy, innovation and entrepreneurship. He speaks French, German and English.

He is also a well-known blogger (didierbeck.com) since 2004, blog followed by more than 80,000 unique visitors monthly.

BRUNO VON ROTZ /

MEMBER OF THE BOARD, EXTERNAL

Bruno von Rotz is Vice President for Strategy and Research and Country Manager of Optaros, a company focused on open source and next generation internet.

He has more than 20 years of IT consulting and system integration experience. During his career he worked with financial institutions, transportation companies, retail organizations, and in other industries. He is a well-known speaker and has published dozens of articles on a variety of topics, including content management, customer relationship management and knowledge management.

Prior to Optaros, Bruno von Rotz was the Consulting Practice Lead for Portal, CRM, Enterprise Content Management and Enterprise Integration Solutions in EMEA for Novell and Cambridge Technology Partners. He was also responsible for the Financial Institutions Sector in Switzerland and successfully expanded the Zurich Office of CTP. Prior to Novell, Bruno worked for McKinsey & Company, where he focused on IT strategy and architecture, and for the software company BTB Informatik AG.

Bruno von Rotz graduated from the Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in Zurich with specialization in Information Systems.

ENRIQUE PANCHO NUNES /

MEMBER OF THE BOARD, EXTERNAL

Dr. Nunes graduated from the Business School of Marseille, France and holds a PhD in Strategic Management from the University of Grenoble, France. He is currently a faculty member in the department of Strategic Management at E.M.LYON, one of the top four French business schools. His research interests are concerned with building sustainable competitive advantage, international strategies, and corporate entrepreneurship. He is co-author of the book "The Dynamics of International Competition" (Sage, 2000) and has published several papers on the topic of entrepreneuring within large organizations.

As a professor, Pancho is mainly dedicated to selling, designing, and delivering customized executive education programs for international firms such as Alcatel-Lucent, Arcelor, Suez or Compass Group.

For the last 15 years, Pancho has been heavily involved with the coaching of individual entrepreneurs and the creation of numerous start-ups in various business fields. He also serves on the board of several start-up companies.

Trained and certified as a business coach, Pancho founded PRESENSE in 2005, a coaching and consulting service company dedicated to helping and guiding direction committees to leverage the relevant connections between strategy, management team dynamics and performance issues. Customers include management committees of large international groups and of small & medium size companies.
