Zurich Insurance Group is a leading multi-line insurer that serves its customers in global and local markets.  Zurich’s customers include individuals, small businesses, and mid-sized and large companies, as well as multinational corporations. Zurich Insurance is one of Ireland’s leading general insurance companies offering a wide range of products including private motor and home insurance, commercial property, business, farm, and professional indemnity insurance.

 

A Market-leading Customer Journey for Home Insurance

Back in 2017, Zurich Ireland wanted to re-launch their Direct Home Insurance offering, enabling an improved digital customer journey. This offering had to integrate into a number of backend systems. After going through a POC phase, Zurich Ireland selected the Innoveo Skye® platform, successfully launching their Home Insurance product in October 2017.

 

Supported Channels and Functionalities

The delivered application is distributing Home insurance across Call Centre, Web, Mobile & Distribution Partnership channels, while the supported processes include quote & bind, endorsements, or cancellations.

Innoveo Skye® also supports pricing rating, underwiting/referral, and user management functionalities, by integrating with several different systems:

  • Customer communication via document generation
  • Customer communication via email
  • Management Information Reporting
  • Back Office systems for underwriting and claims management
  • Customer Relationship Management
  • Integration to 3rd Party solutions for Address GeoCoding, flood analysis etc.

Upon the success of this project, Zurich Ireland is progressing with a similar approach for other lines of business.
